Climograph

http://www.uwsp.edu/geo/faculty/ritter/glossary/A_D/climograph.html

This is a climograph of Memphis Tennessee. Trends in this graph can demonstrate which hemisphere a place is located. Based on the temperature trend on the Climograph, one can know that Mamphis is located in the northern hemisphere based on when the temperature peaks occur. In this graph the temperature peaks occur in June and July. In the winter in Memphis this is when there is the most precipitation and this is from the increase in cold fronts that come through the area during the winter. What makes this a Climograph is that it has a record of the history of average precip. and temperatures of the whole year.  Enjoy!!
